Information: Roseti has worked exclusively in the Pacific throughout his professional career. His career began at Samoa Fisheries as a fisheries scientist for Samoa’s national tuna fisheries. He then left Samoa Fisheries in 2005, to sharpen his bioeconomic modelling skills through academic associations with professors at the University of British Columbia (Vancouver, Canada), before returning to Samoa in 2011. Roseti is a graduate from the Marine Studies Program at the University of the South Pacific in Fiji. In addition, he credits collaborative work with various tuna experts from around the region with providing him with vital insights into emerging management issues for the Pacific’s tuna fisheries. He is now employed at the Forum Fisheries Agency which is based in Honiara as a fisheries economist, a position funded by SciCOFish. Roseti’s main focus is to assist FFA member countries understand the economic implications of proposed tuna management options.
