Regional workshop on the new OIE Information system
One of the objectives of the OIE is to ensure transparency in the global animal disease situation. Each Member Country undertakes to report the animal diseases that it detects on its territory. To assist Member Countries to meet this obligation, Focal Points for Animal Disease Notification to the OI E were the first to be established.
